I love these crispy tortilla strips in soups or salads! We can’t help ourselves and eat them right off the pan. You could also do triangles and make chips for a dip! If you like to play around with flavors, you can always add other seasonings such as chili powder, lime juice, etc. to spice it up!
These are super easy and great on soups or salads!
1 TB Olive Oil
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Chili Powder (*optional)
- Heat oven to 375˚
- Stack about 10 tortillas and cut them into strips (about 1/4 thick or whatever you length and width preferred)
- Put strips into a large bowl and mix with olive oil, salt, cumin, and chili powder (if using)
- Arrange in a single layer on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until light brown, about 15 minutes.
To make these spicy, add more chili powder!
