Below you will find regular ingredients/foods that I use regularly and keep on hand. When I buy something for my kitchen whether it is an ingredient or a product, I do thorough research to find the very best and try to keep the cost down. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below or send me a message! I would love to know what your favorites are in your kitchen!
California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This is probably the most used kitchen ingredient in my kitchen. I love it! I used to use cheaper no-name olive oil, however, after using this, I haven’t gone back.
Fresh Garlic
Garlic is a regular staple in my house. My husband is a garlic junky! He can never have enough. You can buy garlic in many forms. I used to use jarred, which is super easy when you need garlic fast. However, there is nothing better tasting than fresh garlic when flavoring your food. I suggest you taste jarred vs. fresh to decide for yourself!
Sauces and Oils
These sauces and oils are what I keep stocked in my fridge and pantry!
San Marcos Chipotle Peppers in Adobo
I LOVE, LOVE this kitchen ingredient. You can do SO much with it and I will never get tired of chipotle flavor foods. Maybe some say this is old news in the foodie world, but not for me! One of my very favorite recipes using this is in Smoky Beef Tacos (great for company!)
Sriracha HOT chili Sauce
For my husband and son, this is pretty much an everyday staple in my house. This is such a versatile sauce! You literally can use it on EVERYTHING! Mix it with ranch, mayo, sour cream, ketchup to make sauces/dips with a kick. You can use it with chili’s, soups, sandwiches, sides, breakfast foods, marinades, veggies, etc. Try it out if you haven’t!
Land O Lakes Extra Creamy European Unsalted Butter
Our local grocery store Kroger has awesome sales on this butter where it is super cheap. I will stock up and store any extra in the freezer I am not using. If you’re going to use butter, why not get the good stuff? I love the extra creamy!
Ken’s Steak House Ranch
After taste-testing with different brands, this one is our favorite. They also make a “lite” version. Our kids eat ranch on raw veggies, wraps, and many other things. We bought tiny plastic containers to use for lunch boxes (See My Kitchen Products).
Thai Coconut Milk (Lite)
I LOVE any kind of Thai food and love trying new recipes that are Thai inspired. Coconut milk is a favorite of mine to keep in stock. Be sure that the only ingredients are coconut milk and water. I sometimes use the “lite” version but only to save some calories/fat. The regular will give more richness in flavor. I use both! You can add amazing flavor by putting it into soups, curries, rice, desserts (don’t use lite), drinks, etc.
Goya Beans
I love Goya beans. I use all varieties of them and use them weekly!
Basmati Rice
My favorite rice is Basmati. I love the texture and flavor it provides with meals. It is a little more expensive than regular white rice, but for me, it’s worth it.
Tomato Paste
Tomato paste in a tube!!!! Yes, it is awesome! For years, I would make a meal that only needed a little bit of tomato paste and I would put the rest from the can that was unused in the fridge. It always got hard and yucky. So, this has been my go-to lately!
Fun Spices
In an ideal world for me, I would love to grind my spices, make my chili powder, etc. however, it’s low on the priority list for me as of now. We like using these Adams Reserve seasonings and experiment with meats, soups, curries, etc.
Hot Sauce
If you like heat and “in your face” flavor, this is my husband’s go-to hot sauce. He puts it on almost everything, even spaghetti! He LOVES it.
Frontera
I love using these Frontera sauces when I just need a quick dinner. The flavors are really good and not too salty like some taco seasoning packets. They also have complete frozen meals and other products!
Silk Almond Milk
I love the variety of flavors available by Silk. We use Silk products in baking and smoothies mostly. And now that we have discovered the chocolate flavor, the kids drink it straight!
Boars Head Turkey Pepperoni
I love this pepperoni! It isn’t greasy, has fewer calories and fat, and my kids like it! We use it on pizza, sandwiches, wraps, and sometimes just snack on it with cheese. There are also other brands of this, however, we prefer Boars Head brand.
I love this organic bread. The story of this bread and how it became successful is amazing! It is pricier than other bread, but for me, it is worth the splurge! I use to eat plain white bread so it took me a little bit to get used to whole grain bread, but now I love it! I keep my loaf in the refrigerator and it lasts much longer. This bread is especially great toasted and makes yummy croutons!
bai Antioxidant Infusion
This good to drink alone, but it is also AWESOME in smoothies, mixed drinks, etc.. There are tons of flavors. My favorites are with coconut flavor.
Peanut Butter & Co.
This peanut butter is SO yummy and contains simple ingredients. We love all of the flavors and use it more as a sweet treat in oatmeal, yogurt, toast, or just on a spoon!!
Soom Tahini
This Tahini from Ethiopia is excellent in quality and tastes fantastic. It does cost a little more and I had to order it online at Amazon, however, it has been worth it! I primarily use it to make tahini sauce, which is perfect with Homemade Falafel!
This is a company out of Austin, TX and their tea is fantastic! The flavors are amazing and this also makes a perfect gift to someone!
Kewpie Mayonnaise
This Japanese mayo is one of our favorites! We can even buy it at our local grocery store. It is super smooth (only contains egg yolks) and creamy in taste and works amazing for sauces, dips, marinades, etc.
HEB Natural Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets/Strips
These nuggets are SUPER good and easy when you need a quick dinner! We use them for salads, wraps, or just plain nuggets. The Gluten-free nuggets get super crispy!!! We flip them halfway through cooking

Thai Red Curry Paste
I love this Thai red curry paste and use it quite frequently. It’s great to keep on hand to use in soups, curries, meat dishes, etc. It pairs awesome with coconut milk, ginger, etc.
